Viva is now running along the Yonge Street rapidway, picking up and dropping off passengers at three new vivastation platforms at Mulock Drive, Eagle Street, and Davis Drive.
The rapidway on Yonge links to the existing rapidway on Davis Drive and is transforming the way people get around Newmarket and beyond. Sidewalks, dedicated left-turn signals, and upgraded infrastructure will serve the needs of pedestrians, transit riders, businesses and drivers for generations to come.
2019 milestones
what's ahead for this year
Starting this spring, you'll see finishing work such as planting trees, shrubs and flowers, property work, bike lane and bike box painting and markings, and permanent pavement markings.
In addition, you'll also see deficiency and warranty work to make sure that the end product meets the requirements we set out to build. That's why you'll see work activity in the first couple of years after infrastructure projects are done. Read more on our latest blog post, warranty & deficiency work ensures quality for years to come.
