The exciting new Viva rapidway along Davis Drive changes the way we experience our community. The rapidway makes it easier for staff, patients, visitors and volunteers to get to Southlake Regional Health Centre. Over time, Davis Drive will become an even more attractive urban destination to work, dine, relax, live and shop.

The rapidway moves east along Davis Drive from Yonge Street to just past the hospital. About 2.6 km, to be exact. Then it goes another 2.3 km to Highway 404 – this stretch runs the same way YRT service does, in the curbside lane.

With fast, reliable transit and updated utilities in place, Newmarket is prepared for the growth that’s already happening. More travel choices and attractive, tree-lined streets will bring more places to live and work to Newmarket’s downtown.
