As storm sewer installations continue, on Thursday night crews will be working at the intersection of North Promenade and Centre Street. Please see below for more details.
work dates*: Thursday, Aug. 31 to Friday, Sept. 1 [overnight]
work hours*: 7pm–7am
what you need to know:
- As storm sewer installations progresses on Centre St., crews will continue across the intersection of North Promenade and Centre, moving from west to east.
- North Promenade will be closed for the duration of this work activity. Signs will be posted to help direct motorists.
- There will be a pedestrian sidewalk detour around the work area. In cases where sidewalks are closed around the work areas, directional signs will guide pedestrians to the nearest open sidewalk.
- Traffic control staff and paid duty police officers will be on site to direct traffic as required.
- Due to the nature of this work, there will be construction-related noise and dust from equipment and trucks.
- Please give yourself enough time to get to your destination, and remember to reduce your speed through construction zones.
